Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to AgeCanvas, a platform that uses AI to help users explore how a face may look across different stages of life. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Service Description

AgeCanvas provides users with a platform to upload photos and generate AI-powered age progression or age transformation results. You agree to use the service in accordance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

User Accounts and Registration

  1. Account Creation: To access the core features of AgeCanvas, you may need to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

  2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  3. User Responsibility: You agree to notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

  4. Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age to use AgeCanvas. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

Content and Intellectual Property

  1. AgeCanvas Platform: All content provided through AgeCanvas, including but not limited to AI models, generation workflows, interface design, and documentation, is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. The AgeCanvas platform and related materials belong to agecanvas.com.

  2. Your Content: You retain ownership of the photos you upload to AgeCanvas.

  3. Generated Content: Subject to these terms and applicable law, you may use images generated by our service for personal or commercial purposes, including social media, content creation, and other lawful uses.

  4. Intellectual Property: You acknowledge that you do not own the underlying technology or intellectual property that constitutes the AgeCanvas service, and you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of agecanvas.com and any third parties.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities when using AgeCanvas:

  • NSFW and Sexually Explicit Content: It is strictly prohibited to use AgeCanvas to upload, generate, process, or distribute any NSFW (Not Safe For Work), sexually explicit, pornographic, adult, sexually suggestive content, or child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Our AI providers may use built-in NSFW content filters. Any attempt to bypass these filters or generate such content may result in immediate and permanent account termination without refund.
  • Upload photos that infringe the privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights of others.
  • Upload violent, hateful, abusive, or otherwise unlawful content.
  • Use the service to create harmful, defamatory, deceptive, or illegal content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, extract, or misuse our AI models, prompts, systems, or generation methods.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute AgeCanvas services without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the service.
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to bypass any security features, moderation systems, generation limits, or the credits system of the service.
  • Access or use the service in an automated manner (such as bots, scripts, or scrapers) for bulk processing without our prior written permission.

We reserve the right to reject requests, remove violating content, and suspend or terminate accounts if violations are detected.

Credits and Payment

  1. Credits System: AgeCanvas operates on a credits-based system. Each image generation or transformation may consume a certain number of credits. The applicable amount is displayed on the relevant page or workflow.

  2. Credit Packs: You may purchase credit packs through our pricing page. Credits are valid for the period, if any, stated at the time of purchase or on the pricing page.

  3. Pricing: All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated and may be updated from time to time with notice where required.

  4. Payment Terms:

    • All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
    • You agree to pay all charges associated with your selected credit pack or paid service.
    • Payments are processed through trusted third-party payment providers. AgeCanvas does not directly store your complete payment card information.

  5. Refund Policy: Refunds for purchased credits are generally not provided. However, if you believe there was an error or issue with your purchase, you may contact our support team for review.

Service Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, quality, or availability of the service, and disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. In particular, we do not guarantee that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
  • AI-generated results will meet your expectations or represent any real-world future appearance with accuracy.
  • The service will be compatible with all devices, browsers, or operating environments.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, agecanvas.com shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of, or inability to use, the service, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, uploaded photos, or generated images.
  • Loss of credits, payments, or purchase value.
  • Service interruptions, downtime, or technical failures.
  • Errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected outputs in AI-generated content.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms, creates risk for the platform, or is harmful to other users, to us, or to third parties. Upon account termination, any unused credits will not be refunded unless otherwise required by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless agecanvas.com, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the service.
  • Your violation of these terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights.
  • Content you upload, submit, or generate through the service.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which agecanvas.com operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
